Acoustic Earth

Acoustic Earth, a Celebration of Waldorf Education, will be held on the school sports field of Constantia Waldorf School on 2 Feb 2008 from 1400 till after sunset.

This green event will feature international folk artist Shawn Phillips (Second Contribution), Tony Cox, Steve Newman and others. An organic and whole food market, a pupil’s market, a true Waldorf Crafter’s market and an exhibition of Waldorf education and art will enhance the event.

The event will take the form of a six hour picnic concert where the audience are encouraged to bring their picnic goodies, chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the entertainment on offer.

This will be Constantia Waldorf’s fundraiser for 2008.These funds will be used to endow the bursary fund to encourage and assist the attendance disadvantaged pupils, build a music room and help realise the goal of making Constantia Waldorf the first fully green school in the country.
